Back to America

Well sorry this is late, but hey atleast I'm finally posting something! I've been back from Europe for almost a month now! It was a blast! I must say that Ireland was my favorite. My favorite place there was Dingle. The people were insanely nice there. Hmm... thought about posting some stories, but that would officially be on ridiculously long post and I've voted against doing it. So here's some pics. Which you'll have to wait for because my computer is LAME! If you want to hear any stories you'll have to hunt me down to hear any!

Wahoo, Europe!!

Well I'm finally going to announce it to everyone! I'm going to EUROPE!! Yup! I'm leaving on May 14th at 11:55 pm and I'll be coming home on the 30th. We're flying over and have a stop in New York, were going to spend a day there because our next flight is another late one. Well after New York I'm flying into Dublin, Ireland!
We're going to be spending almost the first week in Ireland, then the next 4 days in Scotland, then heading down south to England for the remaining days! I do have to say I am worried about one thing. The plane. This will be my first plane ride. I'm not necessarily scared about the flying over there, it's the though of having no leg room during that ridiculously long flight. I tend to get claustrophic or really antsy when I have no leg room. You'd think I'd be used to it by now. I mean I'm not exactly the shortest person in the world I swear to you anything like bleachers or and seated area they base the leg room length off of a person probably about 5'4'' that has really short legs and a long torso. Well I just hope I can sleep through that plane ride because I'm going to have a blast in Europe!! The rest of you have fun here in Utah.

Forgetfulness is Costly

I'll tell you what, forgeting things is never good. So here's the story. My car in an oil hog and a half. Seriously I need to add oil in that thing all the time. Well I usually don't remember until the oil light comes on (or as my dad would say, the "stupid light"). Well this time I was good and remembered to check the oil before that little red light came on, of course it was low. So I had to go and buy me some oil and fill it up yet again. Well here comes the costly forgetfulness. I forgot to put the oil cap back on. So I go driving around to see my patients, and as I'm driving home my car starts to smell (no, not like the smoke and cats it normally smells like). Then it starts to pore a little smoke out of the engine. Yipee! So I run inside and tell my dad the good news. He goes and checks on it and that's when I found out I didn't replace the cap. The oil was all over my engine and burning, which was causing the smell. So we went and bought a new cap, because who knows were it went. My dad went to go clean all the oil off, and who would have guess it we found my old oil cap wedged in the engine somewhere. Well that's not the expensive part. So the next day I'm went out to go see my patients for the day, and my check engine light comes on, and my car starts shaking like it's have a seizure! And I was stuck at stupid 12th street, and Wall. You've got to love that construction. I called my dad and we decided it was best just for me to drive it to shop to see what's up. Well I was stuck at that light for a good 3 lights, the whole time getting whiplash from the shaking of my car (yes, that is a huge exaggeration). Finally make it to the shop and my dad comes picks me up. I had to cancel all my patients for the day. Well later on we get the call saying my cars fixed, turns out some of the oil that spilled out when I didn't put the cap back on got into the engine coils and ruined one and was working its way into ruining a second one. Well $273.48 later I'm driving my car home! So as a warning make sure you always put the cap back on.

What luck I have!

So this morning started out as normal as the rest, get up shower, eat breakfast, get ready for work. Same old, same old. Well I decided to check my account today to make sure I had money to pay for my passport. Well when I looked I had a whole lot more then used to be there! So I looked to see what the deposit was. Turns out Salt Lake Community College decided to reimburse the tuition I paid for my last semester there! I seriously started at the screen for a good 10 minutes is disbelief. Well not thinking today could get any better, turns out it did. So apparently now you need to set up an appointment to get all your stuff submitted to get your passport. I didn't have an appointment, but Iwas like what the heck I'll just fill out all paperwork and bring everything just in case. I've been a little worried because I put off getting my passport, then my friend tells me after she got hers, that there was about a 3 week waiting list to get an appointment. Well I get there and there are two people already in line. I waited for about 5 minutes for the first person to finish. When they left the guy working there asked the kid in front of me if he was the 2:15 appointment. He said yes. Then he asked me if I was the 2:30 appointment. I told him I wasn't but I was wondering how I would get one. He told me just to hang on a minute, so that's what I did. Well the kid in front of me was with his Dad, but turns out he had to leave because he had a checkbook with no checks in it, so he had to run home and get some more. So lucky me just happening to be there, I got the 2:15 appointment. I was out of there in 10 minutes! Today is a day where I can find no complaints!

RASCAL FLATTS!!

I'm a little slow on updating, I admit! But here's some exciting news. On Feb 26th I went the the Rascal Flatts concert. It was a blast. One of my friends Randi and her boyfriend won front row seats! I was officially jealous about that. I can't complain though we were on row 29, still pretty good. Here's some pictures!

(Don't you just love taking pictures with friends who are almost a foot shorter then you!)

I'd have to say that the only bad thing about the entire concert, was that Jessica Simpson open for them. Oh my YUCK!! She's not a favorite of mine if you can't tell.

Smoke and Cats

So I absolutely love the job that I have. But I must say there is a downfall. Pretty much a majority of my patients have at least two cats in there house. I must add that I absolutely hate cats unless they stay a good 100 feet away from me, then I can say I don’t mind them. It’s not like that with these little beasts. I think I am a cat magnet. Every house that I go to that has cats, they all swarm me and won’t get off of me. Then by the time I’m leaving the house I smell like disgusting cats and have their hair all over me. Now that my friends, is just disgusting. So I bought me a lint roller, for my car! Problem solved. There is one other thing besides the cats that I can’t stand. I have a lot of patients that smoke. So along with smelling like cats I now have the wonderfully fresh sent of cigarette smoke weaved in my hair and my clothes. Just grand. Well to solve this I bought me some febreeze to spray myself down and my car. Before this I used to have to unroll all of my car windows and freeze just so I wouldn’t have to smell myself. My car no longer smells like it belongs to an old woman whose cats live in it. It smells quite nice. OH the wonders of febreeze! Oh and don’t worry I don’t make others suffer through this horrible pain. I come home and shower everyday! What is it with old people and cats and cigarettes! Come on get more creative.
